↞ | Dr. Yasinsac Is a highly motivated and results-driven senior academic, with over 20 years of experience in cyber security research and development involving government funding and collaboration. He is a tested and proven organized leader, with strong interpersonal and problem solving skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, and a proven ability to work on numerous projects and activities simultaneously. His previous funded research has included efforts on Security Protocols, Wireless Security, Mobile Agents, Electronic Voting, Tamper-resistant Software, Intrusion Detection, Digital Forensics, Privacy, and Cybertrust. Dr. Cohen Is best known for his cyber-security and risk management work over the last 40 years, and his work in the startup and growth company community since the early 1990s. He built and grew a health-tech startup from 8 to 250 employees in less than 6 months in the 1980s, did critical early work leading to Federal contracts in excess of $1B in the early 1990s, became a senior member of technical staff at Sandia National Labs in the late 1990s, was principal analyst for security and risk management strategies and is still an analyst at his own firm, co-founded a non-profit graduate educational institution, has testified as an expert witness in local, State, Federal, and other courts, has numerous awards, keynote speakerships, a Ph.D in Electrical Engineering (USC, 1986), is an ISC2 Fellow, and acts as an advisor to many early stage companies. |
